Your Tenancy
All Elderpark Housing tenants (indeed all social housing tenants in Scotland) benefit from Scottish Secure Tenancy (SST) Agreements which offer enhanced rights from those renting in the private sector.
The key aim of your SST, introduced under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, is to ensure the home you rent feels truly ‘yours’ and, among other things, you determine how long you and your family live in it, and who can share it with you. As a landlord Elderpark Housing Association is a community based housing association regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator. This means we that produce an annual report which covers key areas of our service from satisfaction levels, the neighbourhood and community, housing quality and maintenance and getting good value for your rent as well as complying to the highest standards of governance and accountability.
