Our Staff

The Management Committee employs a professional staff team, led by our Chief Executive, Gary Dalziel, to undertake the day-to-day running of the Association.

We currently employ around 25 full and part-time staff delivering a range of services to our tenants, residents and housing applicants.

Housing Management is responsible for areas including rent arrears, dealing with anti-social behaviour issues, estate management, factoring services, allocation of properties and maintaining a housing waiting list.

Maintenance is responsible for delivery of a day to day repairs service, ensuring gas safety within your property, managing and maintaining your homes and communities including major improvement work, cyclical works programmes (for example painterwork etc) and adaptations to your property.

Finance and Corporate Services team is responsible for financial management, support to our management committee, front line customer service, IT and Human Resources.

In addition our Depute CEO takes responsibility for our development programme and wider role activities.

    Gary Dalziel Chief Executive Officer

    Gary joined Elderpark Housing as Chief Executive in February 2017 and is responsible for the day to day operations of the association including ensuring delivery of the associations strategic direction. He has over 25 years experience within the housing sector, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and also holds Masters Degrees in both Housing and Business Administration.

    Shirley McKnight Depute Chief Executive Officer

    Shirley joined Elderpark Housing in 1986. She has 41 years’ service with Housing Associations with experience in Maintenance and Development and Wider Role activities. She is a member of the boards of Central Govan Action Plan Steering Group (CGAP) and Hub West Scotland.

    Aidan McGuinness Housing Manager

    Aidan joined Elderpark Housing in 2006 as the Housing Manager with responsibility for the housing management service and taking forward community regeneration projects. He has degree in Estate Management, a Post Grad Diploma in Housing Admin and is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing .

    Terry Frew Maintenance Manager

    Terry joined Elderpark Housing as Maintenance officer and then progressed to Maintenance Manager. He is responsible for all aspects of the associations maintenance section. He has over 45 years’ experience within the housing / building maintenance and construction sector

  • James McGeough Finance & Corporate Services Manager
    James McGeough Finance & Corporate Services Manager

    James has been at Elderpark Housing since 2005. He has been involved with the sector for over 30 years serving as both Board member and employee. James has worked in different sectors of industry including Construction and Services. He holds an honours degree in Finance and Accounting, an MBA in Business Administration and is a Corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
